The funeral rites will officially start on Friday 14th July 2023.

The late Callistus Amoah will be buried in his hometown Navrongo which is a town and the capital of Kassena-Nankana District in the Upper East Region of northern Ghana.

On Friday, the pre-burial funeral rites will be held at the National Police Academy And Training School in Tesano, Accra from 8:30 am.

The body is expected to leave Accra in the twilight of Friday 14th July 2023 to his hometown either by road or air transport for the final funeral rights on Saturday 15th February 2023 in Navrongo followed by his burial.

Career

He is a police officer in Accra. He passed out of the Pwalugu Police Training School in 2017 and was serving at the National Protection Unit (NPU) at Ghana Police Service headquarters in Accra. Lance Corporal Callistus Amoah was a student of the Institute Of Chartered Accountants Ghana, ICAG.

The funeral is expected to be attended by many Ghanaians including the leadership of the Ghana Police, government, and security services in Ghana to pay their last respect to the officer of law who lost his life while serving the nation and without protection.
