GES Occupational Pension Scheme assembles annual training for members

The Ghana Education Occupational Pension Scheme (GESOPS) Secretariat is getting ready to start a training exercise for all Members that will take place online.

All of their Member Unions are supposed to get the training (GNAT, NAGRAT, CCT Ghana, and TEWU).

The National Pension Regulatory Authority (NPRA) gave the GES Occupational Pension Scheme (GESOPS) a license in 2012 to manage the Tier 2 Pension Scheme for all educational sector workers in the country who are paid by the government.

The GES Occupational Pension Scheme Secretariat will start a virtual training exercise for all Member Unions as part of their annual plan to reach as many members as possible (GNAT, NAGRAT, CCT Ghana, TEWU).

Training Purpose

The purpose of the training is to tell and teach members about the benefits of the Tier 3 pension scheme under the Pensions Act (ACT 766) as amended, how they can get the most out of the pension structure or Scheme, and to answer any questions members may have about the Tier 2 Scheme.

Training Date And Time

The virtual training for CCT Ghana is set to happen on December 9, 2022, at 2:00 PM.
