HOPFA Educational Centre wins 2024 Luv FM Primary Schools Quiz

In a dazzling display of intellectual prowess and teamwork, HOPFA Educational Centre emerged as champions in the 2024 Luv FM Primary Schools Quiz, surpassing seasoned competitors Afaus Lovely School and American Dream Educational Complex.

The spirited event concluded after three rounds of intense questioning, spotlighting the abilities of these young minds in various academic areas, including a spelling bee, riddles, and general knowledge.

HOPFA, participating for the first time in this competition, astonished attendees by securing a commendable 43 points. Their closest rival, Afaus Lovely School, earned 31 points, while American Dream Educational Complex trailed with 19 points.

Despite American Dream Educational Complex winning the third round, they could not overcome the substantial lead established by HOPFA and Afaus Lovely, who maintained a consistent performance throughout the quiz.

The competition, which began on February 26, initially featured 36 schools battling through the preliminary stages, ultimately leading to this thrilling finale.

Conducted by the esteemed Erastus Asare Donkor and Dr. Peter Arthur from KNUST, the event was not only a test of knowledge but also an exhibition of the future potential of these young scholars.

Dr. Arthur praised the students’ performances, emphasizing the bright future ahead if their talents are nurtured properly.

Isaac Antwi, the Relationships Manager at Luv FM, highlighted the competition’s role in motivating students, schools, and educators to strive for excellence.

He reassured that the quiz would continue to serve as a valuable platform for primary schools to showcase and enhance their academic skills.

The champions received not only the prestigious trophy but also various prizes including medals, cash, a 50-inch flat screen TV, mobile phones, and assorted products from sponsors.

These rewards, sponsored by companies like Pepsodent, OMES, and several others, reflect the community’s support for educational excellence.

This victory positions HOPFA Educational Centre not only as the quiz champions but also as the new benchmark of academic excellence in Kumasi, instilling pride and setting new standards for what young students can achieve through dedication and teamwork.
