Unity is one of the hallmark in every organization or institution. Where there is no unity, chaos and violence becomes the order of the day and people will find no peace. Where there is unity, there is a great level of Peace and togetherness. Alan Kyeremanten and Akuffo Addo has been friends in the political scene. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten finally speaks about the decision he took few years ago which gave Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo the the opportunity to become the President of Ghana.

Speaking live in an interview on one of the popular television stations dubbed UTV, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten speaks about the effective role he played in the New Patroitic Parry which has sustained the party for all these while.

According to Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, he sacrifice for Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo In 2012 NPP’s presidential primaries on one reason and that reason has made the New Patrotic Party what it is today. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten added that, he took that decision because there was a great division in the party and the party is at the verge of collapsing, hence he decided to restore unity into the party by stepping down to give Nana Addo the full support for the party to progress.

” Anyone who said so has no fear of God. I sacrifice for Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo just to maintain unity in the party. At that time there is no unity in the party and the division is clear. Out of 17 presidential aspirants, Nana Addo and I were supposed to go for runoff. Since I was a founding member of the party, I decided to restore unity by giving the chance to Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo to go so that we can all support with our resources, Wisdom, and ideas. My decision came as a divine direction to save the party at that time”. – Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten speaks.
