Ken Ofori-Atta illegally delaying Budget presentation to Parliament – Hon. Ablakwa

Information trickling in from Hon. Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa is that Ken Ofori-Atta is illegally delaying the Budget presentation to Parliament. The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, a Ranking Member, and a member of the Parliaments Committee on Foreign Affairs indicated that the Finance Minister can delay for as long as he wishes and that the delays will not save him.
He further indicated that, whether the Finance Minister comes to parliament to present a budget or not, parliament would go ahead with a censure vote to axe him from office.

The current ailing Ghanaian economy has been blamed largely on the failure of the Finance Minister to perform and manage the economy. Over 100 MPs from both ends of the house have reached a consensus to get the Finance minister out of office if the president is unwilling to fire him.
“Ken Ofori-Atta can choose to illegally delay the Budget presentation to Parliament for as long as he wishes but that won’t save him. In any case, all his previous 6 Budgets have brought doom and damnation. Budget or no Budget, we’re going ahead with the Censure Vote. #KenMustGo” The Tweet by Hon. Ablakwa read.
