KNUST To Sack Students Who Trail Two Or More Courses After Supplementary Exams
Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) will sack all students who trail two or courses in the upcoming supplementary exams.
This means, students who trailed in some courses in the main examination and also failed in two or more courses in the supplementary exams will be withdrawn from the university. This is part of the University’s regulations.

All students who have TRAILED COURSES are expected to contact their respective Departmental/Faculty Examinations Officers to register for their trailed courses.
The KNUST Supplementary Examination comes off on Wednesday, 8th November, 2023 and end on Friday, 17th November, 2023.

Marking, auditing and processing of supplementary examination will also begin on Monday, 20th November, 2023 and end on Friday, 8th December, 2023
KNUST To Sack Students Who Trail Two Or More Courses After Supplementary Exams
This comes few days after University of Ghana sacked all level 200 and level 300 students with CGPA less than 1.00. Management of the University made it clear that any undergraduate student who does not achieve a stipulated minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for progression to the next level of study should be withdrawn from the university.
All University of Ghana students are currently urged to visit their students’ portal and check their CGPA. Any student who has a CGPA less than 1.00 should get ready to receive a dismissal letter via email from the university.
This, according to the university is part of the University regulations for Junior Members(2017), section 9.26.

However, all students who are being withdrawn for poor academic performance can reapply for admission as a fresh candidate. You are advised to visit the University’s website and carefully read all relevant information and guidelines for prospective applicants before applying
