NDC’s 2024 Hour Economy Formula 133 To Create Jobs, Tackle Ghana’s 4% Unemployment Rate

Education News has been following a new viral slogan of the ruling NDC, which relates to the party’s 2024 Hour Economy.
The policy and its intentions seek to battle the rising unemployment in Ghana among graduates and non-graduates. Unemployment in Ghana has been estimated to be hovering around 4.0%.
According to Fitch Solutions, Ghana’s unemployment rate is to remain at 4.0% in 2024 and 2025. Ghana’s unemployment rate is expected to remain flat at 4.0% in 2024 and 2025, Fitch Solutions has stated in its Employment Outlook. This rate which translates into about 1.2 million Ghanaians is the same as recorded in 2023.
The explanation of the 20-hour economy and how the NDC plans to deal with it should it win the presidential elections to be staged on December 7th has been given another boost with its so-called simple formula.
In a video making the rounds, sighted by GhanaEducation.org, a confident lady is seen explaining what the NDC’s 2024 Hour Economy means.
She stated in simple terms that the 2024-hour economy could be explained by formula 133, where 1 refers to the same job, while the first and second 3 in the formula stand for three people and three shifts.
The 2024 Hour Economy is expected to increase jobs by introducing two additional shifts for companies that will come on board.
The national youth organizer joined us here and mentioned formulas for pain and hunger. We too have a formula for the 2024-hour economy, and it is a very simple formula. Formula 133,” she said.
She went on to explain as follows: Formula 133, same job, three people, three shifts. So when we say 2024-hour economy,. So when we say 2024-hour economy, you respond with Formula 133.
“When you meet the professors and doctors who claim they don’t understand the 2024-hour economy, tell them…”She stated.
