Ama K. Abebrese Biography, Career, and Net Worth

Ama K. Abebrese was born on May 3, 1980. She is a British-Ghanaian actress, producer, and TV host. She was born in Ghana but grew up in West London in the United Kingdom.
At the 2011 AMAA Awards, she won the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her great work in Sinking Sands.
Her filmography also includes the 2015 Netflix movie Beasts of No Nation, which was directed by Cary Fukunaga and starred Idris Elba. It was Ghana’s first-ever Oscar nomination. She plays Agu’s mother, Abraham Attah, who is a young actor in the main role. FilmContacts.com says that Abebrese is one of Africa’s top 20 actors and actresses.
She is the narrator and producer of the Blitz Bazawule movie The Burial of Kojo, which Array bought and put on Netflix. She has done well as a TV host for more than 20 years.

Ama K. Abebrese started her training in London at a place called YCTV (Youth Culture Television), which was started by Sabrina Guinness for the TV show Challenge Anneka. She was the host of the youth show “Pass da Mic” on BBC2 and a guest host on the education show “English File.”
When she was young and a part of the Lyric Theatre (Hammersmith) Summer Company, she fell in love with acting.
Abebrese was a TV host on the London station OBE TV, which no longer exists. She was the host and producer of a number of shows, such as One Touch and On The Sofa, an entertainment talk show where she talked to stars like Akon and Ziggy Marley.
