How to tell if Bank Account is not fully linked to your Ghana Card -ALL THE TIPS
If your Bank Account is not linked to your Ghana Card, you will be paying the govrnment tax on every transfer you make from your Momo to your bank account.
Per the directive from the government through the NCA, all bank accounts must be linked to the Ghana Card of the owners.
Although many Ghanaians have gone through the process of linking their Ghana card to their bank accounts, they are unable to tell if they have been successful.
If your card is not completely linked to your account, you may have serious issues in the near future. But the question is, even without going to the nearest branch of your bank, how can you confirm that the bank has not completed the linking of the card to your account?
Currently, if you have linked your mobile phone (Momo number) to your bank account, you should be able to transfer money from your bank account to your mOmo and vice versa.
When your Ghana card is successfully linked to your bank account, you will not be charged an amount as tax when you deposit money into your bank account from your Momo Wallet.
That is how it should work, just as you are not supposed to be charged any tax if you transfer money from one momo to the other in an instance where both are linked to the same Ghana card.

Ensure that the correction is made so that you are not charged a 1% tax each time you fund your bank account from your momo.
We hope this explanation has been useful and that you will take the necessary steps now to save you from paying taxes on your deposit.
Now that you can tell if your Bank Account is your bank account is fully linked to your Ghana Card or not, take action.
